We’ve got another exciting week of live music ahead. A bunch of shows are coming into town hot and heavy. Just looking for a partner. Some eyes and ears to make love to. Stop being so conservative. Offer yourself up to some new music. It will be worth it.

As we get geared up for SXSW, our attention gets focused on the music. There’s going to be a ton on hand in the coming weeks. No better way to get yourself prepared than by getting your butt in a seat today. Our local acts are chomping at the bit to be noticed. Do the right thing. Notice them.
For instance… on Saturday Fitzgerald’s hosts Handsome Ransom, Rivers, Pleasure Shapes, and Future Blondes (all from Houston) along with St 37 and Mellow Riot for the low, low price of free or five bucks. Or maybe you need to be at Fitz the day after Valentine’s for Don’t Poke the Bear, PJ Bond, Prairie Cadets and Blackie Dammett for the same kind of deal.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Of course you are. Might we point you in the direction of a few things? Of course we will.
Let’s first off recommend to you the 49th Annual Candlelight Tour by Heritage Society. It happens tonight and tomorrow from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. You can also stay in the same general area for the night by heading down to the Hobby Center for TUTS’ production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.

We’ve had a lot of times that were in between that are hard to remember because they were so blase.
