Chadd Thomas Memorial Benefit at Continental Club

“Every man’s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another.” – Ernest Hemingway

Not knowing the man Chadd Thomas, all I could do was look around Continental Club and see how everyone came together to support one another through music and dance and stories, to find out about their fallen rockabilly comrade. Being the Hemingway junkie I am, his quotes, like the above, always seem to be fitting. But on Sunday it wasn’t the details of the man or his death, but the way his friends live on that seem to distinguish Thomas the most.

It seems trivial to even try to “review” the show put on at Continental Club all day Sunday. So I’ll just leave you with some photos of Dolly Rockers and Johnny Falstaff and the dancing public.

If you didn’t catch the link to Chadd Thomas’s that we published on Friday, you can click on it here. All the proceeds from the door and the raffle on Sunday go to a fund to help support Thomas’s seven-year-old daughter whom he left behind.
