For the last three days I’ve been listening to the Ben Folds and Nick Hornby collaboration, Lonely Avenue. One of my favorite, geeky songwriters and one of my favorite authors together creating music and lyrics, it’s a wonder that it took me nearly six months to buy it.
You would think there was more to the story, but there’s not. I just wanted to share and you can’t stop me.
Let’s move on to the stuff happening around town. If we need to know about an upcoming event leave a comment, tweet at us (@TheLoopScoop) or email us at contact@theloopscoop.com.
Welcome to “The Original” H-Town Showdown series. Our brackets are seeded and the contenders for the title are ready to go. Each Wednesday we’ll present another match-up. There will be four weeks of voting for each competition in each round. So rally up your friends, followers and fans. This will be a true test of attrition.
With this weekend marking the 39th Annual Buffalo Bayou Regatta, we thought we’d bring you a topical showdown this week.
