As a society, we’re all about labels. Conventional wisdom says that things have to fit into certain categories and once relegated to those categories, they must adhere to the stigmas attached to them. Restaurants are popping up all over Washington as it’s the hip place to be. While we all know that trendy doesn’t necessarily translate into good, as a resident of the area, it’s nice that I have more and more choices in the immediate vicinity when I’m looking for some chow. As they pop up, I put them on the big list in my head and systematically check them off as I try them. Laurenzo’s had been on my list for some time and I made the decision that I would hit up Laurenzo’s for brunch on Sunday.

In 4 Words: Flirty, Trendy, Accessories, Carpe-diem-shopping
I don’t know if it is just me – or maybe other lady Loopsters have this problem too: Finding accessories. I always see other gals with the cutest necklaces or bangles or scarves or rings, but when I attempt to shop for these things, I come up empty handed. Maybe it’s the grass-is-greener effect, and everything just looks cute because someone else has it – but whatever the reason, I’ve found a solution: Silver Smith Boutique.
