In addition to teaching in the Media Design graduate program at Art Center College of Design, Lisa Krohn is Creative director at Krohn Design, a brand and design practice whose clients have included: Herman Miller, Walt Disney Imagineering, Alessi, and the San Diego Children’s Museum. Lisa’s products and furniture are in the collections of the San Francisco and New York Museums of Modern Art and the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum. She is inspired by people’s relationships with technology and by shapes and solutions found in nature.
The Spazmatics at the Scout Bar
Yeah, it’ll be worth the drive to Clear Lake. You’ll see plenty of Affliction. Lots of dudes sippin’ coconut rum and Cokes. Lots of chicks inhalin’ vodka Sprites, keeps the weight down. And then, something magical will happen. You’ll forget about the nonsense around you. Even that guy in all black who takes himself way too seriously will take notice. That feeling is fun. Stupid fun for the sake of stupid fun. If you hasn’t seen ‘em at least once, make the trip.
