The Look Ahead: Divine Reserve, Houton Zoo Tweet-Up and Shell Houston Open
We don’t know about you, but this week has been pretty exciting so far. Perhaps its the fact that the Final Four is right around the corner. Maybe the Shell Houston Open has us titillated. It’s probably just because we made it through the first day of the week without getting a case of the Mondays.
Houston’s putting on its finest this week in anticipation of the onslaught of out-of-state fans coming in for the big weekend. We all get to make the most of it. If we need to know about an upcoming event leave a comment, tweet at us (@TheLoopScoop) or email us at email@example.com.

It’s that once or twice a year feeling that’s taken over the city of Houston. The newest Divine Reserve, number eleven to be specific, has been released by Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Have you gotten your hands on it yet? Mason has. He shot us this photo this morning.
You can find the beer that has everyone talking at a variety of different sellers, but that’s not all you really want, is it. You want to drink Divine Reserve 11 in its natural state. You want to know where the casks are and when they’ll be tapped. You came to the right place.
Houston Zoo Tweet-Up

How Much: $50 (includes Zoo admission, all planned activities, lunch, dessert, drinks and a goodie bag)
Scoop’d From: @HoustonZoo – #hztweetup
Richard just took a trip to the Houston Zoo (experience coming soon). It looks like he scheduled his trip a week too early. He missed a chance to get up close and personal to the chimps – “Behind-the-scenes tours of our new state of the art chimp holding facility as well as special access for unique photo opportunities of our chimp family.” Sounds awesome. Just beware of flung poop.
Somehow we got lucky enough to have media passes for last year’s Shell Houston Open. This year, we will once again find a spot outside the ropes to take some photos. Even if we didn’t have access, we would still be buying up some passes to get out to Redstone Golf Club this weekend. This tourney has turned into a tune-up for some of the PGA’s elite golfers. Anthony Kim took home the top prize last year. Who will contend in 2011?
