The Look Ahead: Free Museum Admission, Ziggy’s Daily Special, Arctic Monkeys at HOB and No Label Brewery Nite
We’ve been a bit off our game this week. Don’t worry, we’re trying to get things back on track. How about a robust listing of events to check out this week. Yeah, yeah… We haven’t written anything about White Linen Night in the Heights, but you know about that already… don’t you?
Where: Museum District
When: Tuesdays after 2:00PM
How much: Free, like I just said…
Scoop’d from: @HoustonMuseum
You officially have until 6:00PM (Houston Zoo last admission) or until 7:00PM (HMNS last admission) to get yourself to the museum district to take advantage of the Tuesday deals. Perhaps you can get in there early enough and powerwalk through both venues. If you choose to do so (and you won’t), post your fastest time in the comments.
Ziggy’s Bar and Grill Daily Special
“Today’s special – chicken fried chicken, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, cream gravy + side for $10. Veggie du jour is fresh green beans.”
Should be good.
Stay tuned for our not so positive album review of Suck It and See by our out-of-the-loop Loopster, Jordan. Fortunately for us, Arctic Monkeys have three other solid (in Paul’s opinion) albums to pull from during tomorrow’s show. That being said, Young Buffalo ain’t no slouch either.
No Label Brewing Company at Flying Saucer for Brewery Nite
Also of note, No Label’s brewery will not be open for tastings this Saturday. But other than the first Saturday of every month, they’re open from 1:00PM to 3:00PM for sampling.
