“Handmade gifts to make your mama smile (including our spectacular soaps).” We can’t say it any better than that. My mom is usually lucky to get a card out of me when it comes to Mother’s Day. This year, things are gonna change. Hopefully I don’t set the bar too high…
Just as a note: We do know that Mother’s Day is in a week, Mom. Though, could you blame us for celebrating a week early? Much better than a week late.
The Literary Greats CD Release Party at Continental Club
“The Literary Greats (Houston, TX) may not set out to make the kind of music that creates a stir in your very being, alas that is the card they have been dealt. This affable quintet has been making music since 2003, and when they finally started recording and producing their songs in 2007, something truly magical happened – they inadvertently made the kind of music that sticks with you for a lifetime. Each album holds a different truth for each respective listener. The songs tug at whatever strings need the most attention.” The Orbans out of the DFW area will be batting clean-up for The Literary Greats tonight.
Pale CD Release Party at Warehouse Live
Let them tell it: “Pale, the critically-acclaimed rock brotherhood of four, is pleased to unveil its latest offering, IN THE TIME OF DANGEROUS MEN, at a special CD release show Thursday, April 28, 2011 at The Studio at Warehouse Live in Houston.” We told you about your chance for the first listen to the new album by Houston’s own. Don’t blame us if you didn’t take it. You can right your wrong on Thursday. Your openers will be The Shiny Darks and Come See My Dead Person.
