The Look Ahead: RX Bandits Farewell Tour, HARDBODIES and Steak Night at Shady Tavern
One more day until we get to celebrate our nation’s independence with a three-day weekend that will culminate with fire in the sky. You’re excited, aren’t you.
While we’re on the subject, what are your plans for the Fourth? Sure, you’ll be watching fireworks somewhere (or making your own), but where will your vantage point be? Give us your best spots for the downtown show.
RX Bandits w/ Maps & Atlases, Zechs Marquise, Happy Body Slow Brain at Fitzgerald’s
(COMMENT BELOW for FREE TICKETS)
That’s right, good sirs and madams. We’ve got some free tickets to offer you. Two pairs in fact. Comment below to win with a link to your favorite song by any one of these four artists.
For 16 years, RX Bandits has delighted its fans. They’re calling it quits after this tour, however. If you’re an old Drive-Thru Records junky like myself, you won’t miss their final hurrah. There’s a lot more to look forward to this show as well. Zechs Marquise a prog rock band out of El Paso, TX; Maps & Atlases a folksy, experimental band from Chicago, IL; and Happy Body Slow Brain the new experiment by two Taking Back Sunday vets.
HARDBODIES: Benjamin Marra, Nathan Fox, Zack Soto & Keenan Marshall Keller at Domy Books – Houston
It’s cartoonists and artists galore on Saturday at Domy Books in Houston. It will be weird, it will be strange, it will be right up your alley. Don’t skip out on these four artists as they come through town this weekend. Plus, weren’t you just waiting for an excuse to stop by Domy Books?
