The Knux
In 2008, The Knux broke onto the scene with their first record, Remind Me in Three Days… Together, brothers Krispy and Joey Lindsey comprise the group originally from New Orleans. The sound that The Knux create is unique because of its blend of rock (with Joey on guitar) and hip hop lyrics (with both Krispy and Joey taking over the mic). The new album ERASER creates such vibe that the transition between the two styles is seamless. It’s like listening to a collaboration such as Blakroc, but with more of a feeling of congruity and unity.

Songs of Note: “Run (feat. Kid Cudi)” “She’s So Up” “Cappuccino” “Bang! Bang!

Jordy Towers
Much like the band he will be opening for, Jordy Towers strives to blend as many musical styles into his own sound as he possibly can. Electronic? Check. Rock? Check. Hip Hop? Check. A smattering of Auto-Tune? Of course. Some of Jordy’s stuff sounds like it should be slapped right onto the Top 40 and other songs sound like they should only be played in the most underground of clubs. We’re sure he’ll be keeping you on your toes leading up to The Knux.

Songs of Note: “Spaceboy Bogie” “Don’t Say It’s Over

Electric Attitude
Taking it a step further, Electric Attitude blends a number of blues and soul influences into their music. We’re looking forward to hearing this Houston product for the first time tonight. We’re relying on you to tell us what we’re we should be expecting from Electric Attitude.

Songs of Note: You tell us…
