What all the films have in common is that they spark debate and action in 12 minutes or less.”

Can I eat there? Yes, but concentrate on gathering food for any number of fresh meals soon to be made in your future. Look for Green Onions, Picked Strawberries, Satsumas, Broccoli, Cabbage, Meyer Lemons, Mustards, Radish, Pecans, Turnips, Collards, Cucumbers and Kumquats.  Delicious! Don’t forget about Greak’s Smokehouse either.

Drink Houston Better – Support the Staff of Agora at Poison Girl

How much? Free, but you’ll want to spend money here as all proceeds for that Sunday go to Agora!
Can I eat there? No. But do look for Agora’s Wednesday Belly Dancers at around 10:30 p.m., as they will invade Poison Girl in support of that wonderful little coffee oasis.
Can I drink there? Yes, the more you drink the better off Agora will be. Is that twisted alchy logic? Maybe.

Lights of Millerville Opening for the Holidays


Sunday, December 5, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. or Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.; weather permitting.

Residential Neighborhood in Pasadena [5223 Rainier St.]
Where: Pasadena, Southeast Houston, Worth the Drive
How much? Free, but the creators of the event ask that donations be considered for either Toys for Tots or the American Cancer Association
Can I eat there? Yes, but remember, this is a “choreographed display that includes thousands of lights, a Virtual Santa, leaping arches, and special Effects,” so don’t be surprised of those senses are too overloaded to eat.
Can I drink there? No, not the time for such things. This is about an incredible holiday light show put on by the Miller Family and Extreme Lightscapes.
